Benefits

There are many benefits to archiving data, especially when using our DMS with its data safety guarantee. Just some of the benefits of a good archiving strategy include:

REDUCE COST

Risks might be the inability to fulfill a compliance audit, the inability to retrieve data fast when the business needs it, the failure to meet retention or data protection requirements, or the risk of the costs incurred for recreating or replacing lost data (if that’s even possible).

REDUCE RISK

Establishing a program benchmark is crucial to growing your program and provides the opportunity to display measureable improvements to your stakeholders. Our expert IG consultants will methodically evaluate your program, assessing everything from organizational design and policies to workflow processes and information inventory analysis

REUSE OF DATA

Often data isn’t just kept just for compliance - it can have value to the business. This might be monetizing old film or video footage, use of in-service data to improve the manufacturing or maintenance of a product, or use of historical data for better CRM or targeted advertising.

MORE MANAGABLE EXPENDITURE

In-house archiving requires equipment, space, power, cooling and most importantly skilled people. Capital investments can be infrequent, but high. Operational expenditure models become an attractive alternative.

FREEING UP RESOURCES

Long-term retention of data is typically not a core business activity for many companies that create or use data. So why divert valuable company resources to do this in-house? Outsourcing to a professional archive service provider like Arkivum means buying into not just dedicated infrastructure, but also a skilled team of data retention and access specialists.

A COMMITMENT TO SECURITY THATS SECOND TO NONE

Secure document management. Secure data protection. Secure document destruction. At the core of every solution we offer, is the promise of premium security.

  • To ensure the protection of your sensitive and critical business items, Recall follows stringent facility and vehicle standards, operational protocol, and team training procedures.
  • We continuously conduct security assessments, audits, and benchmarking activities in search of new and innovative ways to further enhance security. Our expert Security professionals periodically review our Global Security Standards to utilize recent advancements in science, technology, systems, and operations. For example our each and every storage area is well equipped with access control system, CCTV camera with live transmission, recording system own covered vehicle. •
  • We have external parties – including our clients, industry experts, and legislative agencies – test, validate, and scrutinize our security measures from an objective point of view. •
  • We invest heavily in fire safety, Very Early Smoke Detection (VESDA), and fire prevention as well as disaster protection and security measures that surpass local and national regulations. We have successfully implemented smoke alarm to detect the presence of smoke and alert occupants in order to give them time to take necessary action, heat and fire detector for fire detection and automatic sprinkler and CO¬2 injection system for protection. Moreover, Carbon Dioxide (CO2) extinguishers and Dry chemical extinguishers are also available on site for in case. Carbon Dioxide (CO2) extinguishers are used for class B and C fires. CO2 extinguishers contain carbon dioxide, a non-flammable gas, and are highly pressurized. The pressure is so great that it is not uncommon for bits of dry ice to shoot out the nozzle. They don't work very well on class A fires because they may not be able to displace enough oxygen to put the fire out, causing it to re-ignite. Dry chemical extinguishers come in a variety of types and are suitable for a combination of class A, B and C fires. These are filled with foam or powder and pressurized with nitrogen.
  • BC - This is the regular type of dry chemical extinguisher. It is filled with sodium bicarbonate or potassium bicarbonate. The BC variety leaves a mildly corrosive residue which must be cleaned immediately to prevent any damage to materials.
  • ABC - This is the multipurpose dry chemical extinguisher. The ABC type is filled with monoammonium phosphate, a yellow powder that leaves a sticky residue that may be damaging to electrical appliances such as a computer.
  • All of our storage areas are covered with adequate amount of Dehumidifiers. Dehumidifiers are used to reduce the relative humidity in buildings where moisture and dampness constitute a problem. Reducing the high relative humidity also reduces mold growth and improves the legibility of stored documents. With a strong focus on risk mitigation, security breach protocol, and best practices, Recall ensures that in the event of a disaster, your business will be able to continue operations, recover assets, and minimize liability.
